Had a great time with the grinds and saloon. Very cool place that is FUN!! Dana and I had a marvelous time and will definitely return for more!Nearby activities: Bolinas is amazing and very pretty; we had a great time walking around and checking the whole town and beach out. What thebearup doesn't like about Smiley's Saloon, Kitchen:
$38 gets you six diminutive tacos, with flavorless dry meat, cilantro, and pickled onion (which was admittedly the best part of the meal). Chips and salsa are purportedly included, but the salsa was missing from our order. This meagre meal is coupled with inattentive service. I suppose there are few dining alternatives in this out of the way surfing town, but I would save my appetite for a more worthwhile restaurant.
My third time staying here. It is now way over priced for what it is. They aren’t putting any money back into the rooms. I don’t see myself coming back at these...
