first trip to bolton in 47 years and thus first pint. a really nice pint by coach house brewery. coachman’s jump ale. really refreshing. excellent choice of ales. boss with her blueberry beer, which is exceptional. beautiful building and beautiful staff. only spoons snobs would complain. read more.

3 staff at the bar blatantly ignored me for 10 minutes. I explained this to a member of staff but an apology from them isn’t enough. Despite the recent renovation this pub is very loud with never enough tables or room without someone brushing past behind you and when you do find an available table it’s always sticky and unhygienic along with all the other wetherspoons pubs I have visited. Cheap beer occasionally but lacking overall sense of enjoyment and hospitality.
