Dropped by here on Easter Saturday morning. It was early but there were plenty of people in town. Poppi only had two staff and not heaps of customers but they clearly needed more staff on.We waited forever for our order – everyone was just ready to get up and leave except we’d already paid for it.We got one mediocre coffee, one fresh juice that was good but cost $6.50 for a teeny tiny glass and a GF, DF and very much... What a surprise to find such a organic cafe in Boonah. Coffee was great, and lovely sunny, grassed area to sit and warm up on a cold morning.

"The Royal did close for a short period, as stated by Noelene 61. However glad to say the doors are open again and the hospitality is still good old country style. The restaurant serves a lovely lunch from their fairly extensive menu, which is very reasonably priced. My wife and I have often taken our visitors for lunch at the Royal and everyone remarks about the good food. Sunday's can be quite busy so I recommend booking to be sure you get a table. I think its always best to call to make sure you can get in. Its a pleasant drive to the hotel so next time you're passing pop in for a pot and enjoy the country pub atmosphere.."
