"Went to Mikes for the lunch special...fish sandwich, fries, and hush puppies for $7.50. This is my second visit for the Special on Wednesdays...first visit just a few weeks ago. It is a great value, hearty lunch. The potato wedges are hot and crispy. The beer battered fish sandwich is crunchy and delicious, especially add tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. The hush puppies are definitely the best around. All in all a great lunch. The price for the special had risen to $9.00 but it is still a good deal. The rest of their menu prices has also increased, most items by 3 or 4 dollars. Disappointing but inevitable...and probably to stay for the future, as i have never seen a restaurant reduce prices when inflation settles again."

"Great service and friendly staff I ordered to take food back to my vacation rental. Tomato pie was good but not much tomato in it. It seemed like a lot of ricotta cheese. Crust was good. Tasted good but I’ve had better- needs onion, basil, better cheeses and more tomatoes. Mac and cheese was tasty but lacked creamy cheesiness. Creme brûlée tasted great however metal aftertaste because it comes in an aluminum container. That ruined the experience for me. Their menu has a variety of other things I would go back and try."

"We went at lunch and the food came fast and tasted great! Our server was super friendly and polite! She recommended the Honey Chipotle sauce and I admit it was amazing! Overall, super satisfied with everything. Very recommended and of course, your experience will vary depending on time and how busy they are."

"The pizza and salad were absolutely incredible! Despite staffing shortages, our food came out in good time with fabulous service. We had the Meaty Margherity and a Greek salad. I would definitely recommend this place if your in Boone and are craving pizza."

"1. Got to make a reservation. We tried to go to COBO a year ago on a weekend ski trip but it was too busy, this time we made a reservation and came in right on time and they had our table ready. Alex introduced himself as our server and quickly got our drinks and apps. Alex was absolutley fantastic as a server, knowledgeable of the menu with great recommendations. Our friend who came with us went to APP State and has COBO as his favorite sushi in NC and Alex did not let us down as they shared stories of their love of COBO and the history they have with it. Highly recommend COBO and if you can ask for Alex as your server."
