Unfortunately on the 18th December 2022 The Wild Rose will close down. The staff are a lovely bunch be really sad to see it go its a great little community pub in the heart of Bootle. View all feedback.

Compared to the Navvy (what I call the Navigator), if you didn't want to watch the news, tough, the staff couldn't help you. Food was good but I wish I could say the same for the staff, who didn't believe in looking after lost property. I dropped an old pair of tights on the floor there the other week (and these were a good pair of tights), which the staff stupidly threw away. Unlike the Navvy, this was cramped. The...
