Stumbled across this little place near the Palace of Justice on our first night in Bordeaux. This is an authentic Vietnamese food in a small restaurant whose walls are full of original art work. The couple who run it speak fluent English and are really friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic and great value. We liked it so much we ate here again later in the week. Will definitely be back.
Having spent a few weeks in Spain, we were ready for some Asian cuisine and chose this restaurant as it was busy. The pho was delicious....on a par with ones in Marrickville Sydney.....fresh, aromatic broth, served traditionally with the side of lime, sprouts and Vietnamese mint/basil. As we are used to quite spicy meals my husband's meal was too mild. We asked for chilli and they then brought a great dish of chilli and condiments out, which made his meal more to his liking. The service was fantastic. The maitre'de was very efficient, professional and friendly. A lucky find for us!
We visited on our first night in Bordeaux, it was close to our hotel and the reviews were good.It is a small restaurant with tables inside and out. Choosing the very good value set menu (only €12) we had a good choice of dishes and the ones we chose were delicious. The service was good and friendly and the suggested wine was very drinkable. All in all a good experience.
Chose this restaurant due to its close proximity to the hotel, and the fact we were exhausted from a 3 hour delay in air travel!! What a lovely end to the evening, the food was lovely, we chose from the set menu, with the help of great staff, we weren't disappointed! We have eaten many times in the city, and had nice food, but this was far better worth the small walk out of town!
