"We went along this street in Bordeaux after seeing a film at the UGC to find a plethora of restaurants to try and we fancied something Asian. Anh Kha (named after the Vietnamese chef) is a Eurasian restaurant that opened this year and looked nice...through the window, so we thought we 'd give it a try. The menu isn 't very extensive (there are vegetarian options), but the food we chose was beautifully presented and not just old standards. We started with a sharing plate of assorted nems, sping rolls and samosas between us and for main course my wife and I chose very gooey spare rib pork with bok choi on a bed of pea purée with beetroot shoots, which was delicious. Our son had the burger with a bun made from rice and served with sweet potato and vitelotte (a purple potato variety) crisps. Again he was very pleased with his choice. The service was very relaxed on the night we were there even to the point of being slightly too slow, but the price was reasonable."
