Postino - Boroondara

A wonderful night had by us all...good food, good service and lots of laughter amongst friends. What else can one ask for during a night out? I must say, the pizza's are especially tasty! Our first visit here to Postino and we shall most definitely return soon. Thank you!

The atmosphere was great. A beautiful italien restaurant with friendly staff. We were suprised by how quick the pizza arrived! The best pizza i had in Melbourne. Thumbs up, will return for sure.

The service was rather ordinary, and inconsistent (several waiting staff) resulting in confusion with the pizzas ordered The pizzas were all soggy in the middle! Really average overall! I would appreciate staff looking up and saying goodbye as we left rather than just counting the till, particularly when we stupidly left a generous tip because it was easier to round off and split the bill! Won't be going back.

Worst experience this time.... went to for takeaway some vegeterian food PARMIGIANA Pizza which was little bit as expected but....SORRENTINA Paste was horrible nothing even mixed properly looked like made in a min ANDNAPOLI GNOCCHI so watery looked like just stirred with canned tomatoes.....Quality has gone down drastically from last two years and prices shooting up.... Not worth looking inside shop again....

Quick meal at a local before heading home. Wife orders quinoa and salmon salad. I ordered fettuccine- crab and chilli along with garlic focaccia to share. Wife's salad was soaked with oil and only ate half. The focaccia had little to no garlic and definitely no salt making it tasteless. Unfortunately my pasta was very bland too. Waiter came to collect our dishes and asked about the wife not finishing hers - "was it too much madam?" The waiter asked......."no...just too much oil in the salad!" Oh...ok....I'll let the chef know" was the waiters response. That was the last we heard of it......we paid the bill and left.We might have expected too much for our first time ....but then again...probably not!
