What User likes about Florentine Cafe:
we have come every year for the last 5 years on our boston trip to this restaurant. I was as disappointed as we were treated this year by the manager person who sat us. we came to our reservation time. he shows us a table that is close to the door and right at the top of the inn. we asked if we could have another table and he told us with a very bad ton that there was nothing else. we said we could wait and he was go... read moreNestled in the heart of Boston's North End, this café shines with cozy charm and friendly service. Diners rave about the fantastic Italian dishes, from indulgent gnocchi to delectable lobster ravioli, expertly crafted with quality ingredients. However, mixed experiences with service and ambiance occasionally detract from the overall enjoyment. While some guests appreciated the relaxed outdoor vibe, others noted slow service and noise levels that hindered conversation. Despite these ups and downs, the culinary offerings, particularly the risotto and calamari, consistently impress, making it a worthwhile stop on any culinary pilgrimage through Little Italy.
Very good Italian food and service. The noise was high and it was difficult to hear people at your table. Prices were on the high side.
Great food, nice view especially by the windows. Had a lovely meal here.
