Suggested by a local North End resident as a one of the best long time family Italian Restaurant in the area. She was right. Great atmosphere, super friendly and inviting staff. Food was hot and fresh and very delicious. Try the shrimp scampi, the sauce was amazing! read more.

Absolutely would NOT recommend, even if it’s the only place w/ reservations open in the North End (it’s not filled for a reason! It was mediocre Italian food at best- not even close in quality to other restaurants that I’ve been to in the North End. Broccoli Dorati was probably the worst and was literally burnt. Great food. Nice place! But no desserts served....had to turn the place over which I get. Was my wife's birthday so she was disappointed. Went to Modern instead...

"Enjoyed the food but underwhelmed considering the hype of the restaurant. We were seated at at the bar overlooking the kitchen which was interesting viewing, but we were served from behind which was awkward and there wasn't much room for all the small plates. The corn bread was delicious! We also had the fresh catch (red snapper that day) which was pretty good and the butternut squash ravioli. The lamb osso bucco (giouvetti) had a weird cut of meat. Overall it was good but not amazing."
