Waited over 50 minutes to be seated with a reservation. The restaurant was not apologetic about the wait at all. There was 0 communication from them regarding the cause of the wait or ownership of it. View all feedback.
What Peter Steinberg doesn't like about Panza:
Another North End restaurant that happily uses Open Table to lure people in thinking you have a reservation but then makes you wait 30 minute outside before getting. Seated. And any questioning in this you are made to feel like you’re lucky to be a customer. Then when we finally get in the prices quoted on Open Table are not the same as the actual priced so it all feels like it’s taking the p… Food and service inside... View all feedback.
Always so, so good! make sure that they order the Italian chopped salad!
Fresh food that was good. Did not expect to have to wait since reservations had been made in advance. It was great that we could sit as long as we wanted to, and that the restaurant accepted credit cards.
Friendly service but flavor was bland. Pasta was not fresh (def from a box) and portions were huge. Shellfish lacked flavor. Wine portions were generous and prices were reasonable but I wouldn’t recommend or return.
We love Panza. We have a meal there whenever we’re in Boston, at least once a month. Traditional Italian and some specials that have a little twist. The chopped salad is the best, we always order it to share. The plate size encourages a doggy bag. I highly encourage you to go.
The lasagna was not a typical lasagna. No ricotta and made with chunks of chicken breast. Was not impressed.
