"Had another fantastic meal at The Ship Inn peppered steak chips and veg cooked to perfection and my hubby had the lamb shank mash and veg and enjoyed it very much. The service it top class always friendly and welcoming especially with my son who is a fussy eater and still they always manage to cook something he enjoys. "Fantastic food and service. As someone mentioned earlier, Bateman’s XB is served much too cold for beer. As cold as that, which is ok for lager, kills the flavour but probably put through a snake with all the other drinks. Was perfect on our previous visits."
