"My husband and I had an amazing 3 course meal tonight to celebrate my birthday. Portions were generous and lovely to see different things on a menu. The attention to detail and service was lovely. Although pricier than some eateries we felt the meals were worth the money and highly recommend Kirton Cottage. Definitely will visit again. "We came to the Barley Mow for their pie night last night. The pies were amazing, best we have ever had. I had the chicken, ham and leek and my wife had the beef in red wine. Perfectly cooked pastry packed with meat. Lovely, crispy chips and perfectly cooked vegetables. Fabulous desserts, the banoffee pie was delicious, as was the lemon cheesecake. Fantastic service by the the team and Jayne is the perfect host. Thank you team BM."
