Julio's is an awesome restaurant with fresh scratch made food. It is more like Mexico City gourmet farm to table spots not at all like the americanized food here. I personally love the rice and black beans made simply and full natural flavor. The sauces and marinades compliment the ingredients instead of overpowering them. The staff is so kind and friendly. We have worked and traveled in Mexico and lived in So Cal so... View all feedback.
What Allison Hegel doesn't like about Julio's:
Not very full on a Friday at lunchtime. The Burrito Avocado was pretty average. The tortilla was room temp and the steak was chewy. Parking: The parking lot was very small and full, and all the surrounding streets were very restricted. I had to park a few blocks away. View all feedback.
The food is amazing! I'd never had fajitas with steak that practically melts in your mouth, until now. Absolute perfection! 10/10 would recommend, 10/10 will be back!
Absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant in my area. Everything they make is fresh, rich in flavor, and an absolute delight. Best of all, they are willing to make their enchiladas suizas with corn tortillas for those of us with wheat allergies or Celiac. We've been customers for years and have tried at least half the menu, and even remember some dishes no longer on the menu. Bring the horchata back, Sylvia and Julio! <3
The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was filling but not heavy or oily and the drinks were amazing. Definitely will be back!!
We are from California and miss good Mexican food. This place was wonderful! Delicious, the best carne asada I have ever had! The salsa was great and I consider myself a salsa snob having lived in South America. The service was great, super friendly. We went without our little one on a lunch date, but are so excited to return as a family.
Eating here for the first time as I write this. The food is amazing. This is the first Mexican style restaurant I've been to that uses actual beef, diced up and not ground. Definitely makes the texture and taste more enjoyably. For a small restaurant, the food in amazing, friendly staff, and all-around great atmosphere. I'm definitely coming back.
