"We drive from SF to Santa Cruz just to get chocolate Mutari. Her frozen hot chocolate is the stuff of dreaming super duper deep chocolate, creamy dreamed, and RICH. The chocolate sauce is what I wish every chocolate sauce tasted, Hershey is so far from being on the same level, it is on another planet. I always get the coconut whip because it is decadent and goes so well with the freshly roasted cocoa nibs that add a delicate, fruity, toasty crunch and textural dimension. And have I mentioned that I am quite sure that the whole thing just happens to be vegan, so lactose intolerant souls like I can actually enjoy this miracle of a milkshake without negative consequences?!!! Your Brownie is also crazy (smooth, deep chocolate and HUGE) and I always get at least two of their only source chocolate bars that are always delicious and from interesting countries. I don't think you can buy something bad here. Yeah, they're expensive, but good chocolate costs money! The parking lot is left next to the building."

"I'd actually give this place a 3.5 rating but you can't do 1/2 star so.... This place is charming! Spacious inside, quaint outdoor space too and lots of natural light. Friendly and attentive staff. We were a party of four and did make reservations. We were seated promptly, even when our full party wasn't there, which was nice because we didn't stand around in anyones way. We all ordered coffee drinks, 2 Pumpkin Latte, Vanilla Latte and a Golden. For our meals we had 2 avocado toasts and 2 BLAST's. I had one of the B.L.A.S.Ts and would have enjoyed a little more spice, maybe a sriracha mayo vs. plain, and the potato wedges were a bit dry. They do have a parking lot out front but it was full but they was plenty of free parking in the lot directly across the street. We were surprised that they do not accept cash but that won't stop me/us from going back."
