In seventy-five years of unremitting consumption, I have never, NEVER I say, had a pork sandwich to compare with the pulled pork at Smoke, Fire Coal. It was amazing. How a chef can manage to serve puled pork while at the same time having it slightly pink I cannot fathom but they did it. Superb, just superb. Service was good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive! That's the only thing keeping this from being a 1 star review. Brisket was horrible. Dry, tough, and cut too thick. The first brisket I ever cooked was better. Disappointing for sure! Mac and cheese was bad. Fried okra was pretty good actually. Nothing remotely creative or special about this place.
