Great little local Indian eatery which I would rate as one of the best in the area. We have ordered takeaway and eaten at the restaurant and have always been happy with the food which is fresh and tasty. It’s our go to spot for a curry hit. View all feedback.

I been to Tandoori Street yesterday evening around 7PM for dinner with my husband.<br/ <br/ Ordered: Papri Dahi Bhalla( Combo of Papri chaat Dahi bhalla), Chole Bhature<br/ Food: Dahi bhalla was good. Papri was salty(no idea if it has to be like that as it may be one of street food category of Delhi). Bhature was perfect, no oily and not sticky but good fluffy and tasty. Chole could have been little improved with more amount of quantity compared to bhature and some more spices in it.<br/ <br/ Service: Lady at counter is well communicated and humble gestured. As this restaurant serves fresh cooked food, average time taken to serve the food.<br/ <br/ Ambiance: Since we entered this restaurant, had local Australian old couple finishing their dinner and some local people were just chatting outside on extra chairs. Seems this restaurant has marked their impression on local people and Butter Chicken is favorite among them.<br/ <br/ Decor: Nice decor with Bollywood and Indian photography on wall, Lanterns sitting arrangement inside restaurant.<br/ <br/ Cons: Though Idli and Dosa listed on their Menu, they do not provide it.<br/ BYO (Bring Your Own) is chargeable with $2 per person. <br/ Menu: Can have some more options for vegetarian curries.
Absolutely love this place! Definitely a favourite of ours. Have ordered both take away and also have had it delivered, the service is impeccable and the food is to die for. Cant eat at any other indian anymore.
By far the best Chicken Tikka Masala I have had within the Brisbane area(coming from a Welsh boy).<br/ I loved that all chicken(even in Butter chicken) was char skewered in the Tandor oven... Yum...<br/ All other items were tasty and of the highest quality.<br/ (Ordered take away, Family meal deal: x3 Butter Chickens, x1 Chicken Tikka Masala, x2 Garlic Naan, x4 poppadoms and x8 Onion Bhaji s).<br/ Also at $69 very reasonable as well.<br/ The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean/tidy.
Fresh and Authentic. We have eaten out at numerous Indian restaurants but Tandoori Street has definitely impressed us, such a neat food outlet. The food is always fresh, with each curry having its unique authentic flavour with succulent chicken or meat or fresh veges. Also loved the king prawn biriyani rice.. I give this place a 5 star!
