"Fantastic way to bring in the new year!!! What a wonderful evening of amazing food! A special night of 5 courses which were SO delicious. Scallops, lobster tail, filet, and more with sauces that made our mouths water. Presentation was beautiful and the service was on point. Decorations filled the restaurant and party favors for everyone. Owner Tricia greeted everyone and spoke about the dishes being served. What a wonderful night to celebrate the new year. Thank you Tricia and Ama La Vita!!"

"Excellent Wiener Schnitzel with warm German potato salad, that followed a giant pretzel. Washed down with German beer of course. It turns out that most people make a reservation since it's in what was once a small house. We got there just after they opened at 4:00 and despite not having a reservation were seated at a table with a later reservation time. I'm glad we were able to enjoy this fine meal and hope to go back next time we're in town."

"Great views from outdoor dining tables, friendly and fast service. Do not pass up the Lobster Bisque, it's beautifully rich and flavorful. The fish and chips were light and crispy and delicious. The portions are large so go hungry, share or make room in your fridge for your doggy bag! You won't be disappointed. The Oysters Rockefeller were delicious as well."

"We spent our weekend in the Bradenton area and visited the historical Bridge Section for the first time. After having scouting a few establishments in the famous street and feeling a bit disappointed with their food offerings, I resorted to Yelp. The Bamboo Island Bar 's menu piqued my interest. The restaurant 's name is deceiving, (it is more a restaurant than a bar). The location might be difficult to find since it does not have a store front; you walk into a lobby at the end, the stairs will lead you to the 2nd floor where this restaurant is located. The restaurant is owned and operated by a friendly and welcoming Brazilian family, who are very proud of their accomplishments. The restaurant décor is as welcoming as the family, open and modern, inviting on a hot summer day. The first encounter is with the bar, the space opens directly into the dining area where a scatter of different table arrangements are set all facing the spacious windows where the transit of this street can be observed as well as the bay and open ocean at the distance. Tucked away to the right of the space, there is a smaller size restaurant, (apart from Bamboo), where only hamburgers are sold. It is very unique in décor and hamburger options! These are owned and managed by 2 siblings.The menu at Bamboo is simply eclectic, made up of dishes that the family has enjoyed from different parts of the world. I like it because the selection is limited but provides appropriate variety. The dishes presented on the menu with pictures and descriptions have very original names. I immediately knew what I wanted! I ordered Ibiza for appetizer and Salvador as the entrée; of course, to drink, I chose one of my favorites, a Caipinhira- typical Brazilian drink which I like very much!!!Ibiza was perfectly presented, executed, and cooked! Oh my! I love the fact that the dish came with two choices of sauce on the side; both of them good but not really needed. I like my octopus plain and simple if cooked well. It was tender, the portion was big enough to share!Salvador, a seafood/fish stew, also typical of Brazil was also well prepared; I particularly liked it because the coconut flavor was not as overwhelming as in other places I had tried this dish. The balance of spices in the sauce was perfect! This dish came accompanied by rice, green salad, and bread; the latter we asked for repeat to scoop up that perfect sauce I mentioned. Overall, great culinary experience in a place with Bar word prominent in the name. A find worth returning to!"

"From 50 miles radius, this is the only place to serve bones and beef ribs. Not sure why it's part of the soup base. Why other restaurants don't offer it. I hope the flesh on the bone is easier to come, but a knife as you need to shave it off."

"I love this place absolutely. I used to work with an employee here at least once a month, but not in 6-8 months due to placement jobs and further away... Today I had some time and decided to go and the owner REMBERED me. I loved that she remembered me after so long time and we were able to meet Konvo as I saw her last week. They reworked the menu, making it even more to love than before. Today I got the Massaman Curry and a Thai tea and... To die! If you are looking for the best Thai food in Bradenton, do not look further. That's the point. It's delicious. The veggie egg rolls are also great! Not shown because I have them below 10/10 service 10/10 food 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 location."
