"This is a good restaurant if you’re looking for something a little more low-key, not as expensive but still has pretty darn good food. We sat outside on their deck right on the pier and it was a gorgeous view, very peaceful and perfect to have a meal with good company. I got the scallops and shrimp, and even though the presentation was less than stellar I was very happy to find out they tasted MUCH better than they looked. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and adding in a little bit of the cheesy grits made for a flavor-popping bite, I ate the entire plate with most satisfaction. The amberjack fish was also cooked really well and tasted good, if you prefer a fish option. We also got a key lime tart and that had a good little punch of key lime flavor but wasn’t over the top, it was a small portion which can be nice so you don’t overdo it. Our waiter (Shawn I think? was super sweet and enjoyable to talk to. Great place, I will for sure come back if I’m in the area again!"

"I loved this place! The only thing that would have made it better is if they had sauces or gravy and let me build my own crepe. I would have killed for Hollandaise sauce over a mushroom spinach scrambled egg crepe! Hubby loved his crepe and I had the best bagel and lox that I've ever had! We will be back. We live in Parrish but they are more than worth the 45 minute drive."

"We had a great time in blue marlin. first we asked for an earlier reservation (at a time previously listed as sold out) and got it. when we arrived, we had a very nice server as well as nice people at the next table (which recommended the whole snapper – what I ordered). the meal was delivered quickly and was excellent. if you want fresh fish and good service, this is the place!"

"Second year visiting AMI, just had to come back to Dip 's after our experience in 2022. Summer of 2023 was completely different. Service and quality are non existent this summer. When the machines cannot keep up with the amount of orders being taken they continue to serve anyway. Instead of receiving ice cream, you receive a cone upside down in a bowl of milk. Then when you question it or say this is not what you ordered they ask why you have an attitude bro . Manager/Owner was not too helpful either. He was more concerned about his workers reputation rather than making a spectacle of the situation in front of 50+ waiting customers. He also talked bad about another ice cream business very close to his. Small business owners are supposed to lift each other up and not dog each other. He also claims I cursed his worker out, absolutely not true. Luckily for us, he asked us if we wanted our money back and did get it all back to us. 3 of our orders went straight to the trash. The other one was drank. I suggest if you have to try Dip 's for yourself, ensure you ask if the machines are working properly. Otherwise, you will receive a milkshake even if you didn 't order it. It would be zero stars but google is forcing us to put one. The Mayeux Family"
