I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, the prime rib was a winner. I ordered the super primacy and it was a generous portion of three meals, which was great. The baked woof soup was delicious, although my wife did not find the fillet mignon very flavorful. I suspect the German potato salad may have come from a store-bought container. What Michelle Hayes doesn't like about Beefeaters:
Ok first we came prime rib and salmon. It wasn't told to us that they won't serve these until after 4pm. We were here at 320 and even asked politely if we could still order and was told no-way after server went to ask. So we ordered the lasagna which came out warming and I had ordered the beef roast with mashed potatoes. Meat was barely warm potatoes were hot but not worth the 47.81. Been there before and was always happy. This was my first buffet there (Easter). The people were great and the food looked appetizing. I'm sure a lot of time and effort went into preparing it which was wasted because it was all cold. With all the time they've been in business you'd think they'd have figured out how to keep a buffet warm. $150 wasted, will visit Yogi's next time.
Wife and I stopped in for an early supper 5:30pm. We both had the NY Steak special. It was excellent. The service was friendly and polite. We also got dessert to take home. We ate it in the car... ya that good!
The food was amazing! The ambiance was wonderful...an old Carnege library.
A bit dark inside for someone with visual disorders, but that was soon forgotten as eating started to get to the table. the clean and brokkoli I ordered was heavenly and lasted 2 days as rest. I was sad when the box was empty. a nice suggestion from locals after being sent to the city to work a few hours.
