Just a lovely start to the morning. We had a full English and, Crushed Peas, Avocado and Mint on Toast with Poached Eggs. Both were delicious; beautifully presented and we had a most pleasant waitress. The place is unpretentious and its Michelin star is very obviously for the quality of its food. The breakfast was well priced at £30 with a coffee. 12.5. tip is included. Limited parking nearby and located up a hill. View all feedback.
What Andy Jäger doesn't like about Bunch of Grapes:
Very cold coffee and an even colder reception by the staff. Bearded hipster on the counter especially. Felt like we were more of an inconvenience and serving us coffee and pastries was such an effort. We were going to stay for lunch but I can honestly say I’ve never come across more miserable staff, so we decided to go elsewhere. Not a pleasant experience View all feedback.
Seven cursor tasting menu is excellent, would be ready to double for the quality of the food we receive in the evening. the team is very friendly and known about weeping and again very favorable in the addition to the wee pairings.
Had a nice dinner here on the other day, although it was a bit too hot inside! the service was great, eating and the wine was delicious and it was easy to find with parking near. we were one of the last since it had such a great atmosphere and was still cozy. the foccacia was absolutely fantastic and the desserts were very nice with a good selection.
This is what hipsters think a modern British Pub looks like. The food was just not good from start to finish. The gravy on the sunday roast was- there is no other word- disgusting. The roast potatoes were very dry, as was the Yorkshire pudding. The starter and dessert were alright. Even the Coke I ordered tasted nothing like coke, presumably because of the „dehydrated lemon slice“ in it. I would translate it into „rotten egg“. The service was awkward and slow (when I ask for the bill, I expect it to not be placed on my table to be stared at for 10 minutes but for the staff to follow quickly with a card reader). I feel like I must be wrong based on all the the positive reviews but its hard for me to even give 2 stars.
Amazing food, great service will definitely return and tell others.
Very good food. Reasonable prices. Not parking. But some free parking just up the road.
