After a trip to the discovery park at Notley we went here for lunch. Having not eaten out since March we didn't know what to expect. It was v relaxed but spotlessly clean, staff behind perspex screens, a good system using buzzers to tell you when you collect food orders through a hatch, tables v well spaced apart and lots outside.Good was as good as ever! I 've been to the Blue Egg four times now. The portions are huge it is not cheep. On 3 occasions I 've asked for my food to be HOT rather than the first visit where the quiche that I chose was served up luke warm! I 've just taken my mum for her birthday ordered food asked for it to be HOT at the point of ordering. I chose the vegetable lentil lasagne.
