What Steve Morris likes about Hayton Farm Shop:
Called here on the way to Newcastle and it was well worth the stop, I choose a BLT and my wife a Tuna and Cucumber sandwich from a excellent lunch menu and we weren't disappointed, (they also serve desserts with a large selection of home made ice cream . What Dan C doesn't like about Hayton Farm Shop:
The shop is lacking any real farm produce, it all appears to be bought in. The food is very expensive for what you actually get, the scone was very dry, the luxury hot chocolate was basically chocolate powder with water, cream marshmallows abd a flake and you get extra hairs with your coffee! Very nice triple chocolate cake with cream and tea following a Ramblers walk went down well! Will come back again to try the lunches one day.
Food was absolutely lovely, highly recommended!
