Exciting vegan breakfast. Perfect place for a couple where one is, vegan and the other isn't. The tofu scramble was perfectly flavored, patty was nicely crispy and they were smart to not butter the toasts. The vegan bacon could have use a bit more crisp. Service very quick and friendly. It was my first time visiting today. I came with 4 people. We got a table pretty quick and our orders were taken quickly as well. However, it took 55 minutes to get our food. One food order was incorrect. The waitress took the food back and brought the same one back out two times until we told her we can tell it's not what we ordered so stop. Was looking for breakfast early Sunday morning and stumbled across the Golden Egg. Good value, clean and friendly service.
This place is an average breakfast restaurant. Staff are friendly and attentive, which is good. However the specialty Golden Egg omelet was just an omelet with what tasted like pre-cooked then reheated chicken. It was dry and tasteless. And the sauce was similar to bottled pasta sauce.The price here isn't bad, but better quality wouldn't hurt.Overall it wasn't a bad experience. The food was still edable. The polite staff made it a balanced experience. All that in mind it's still worth a visit due to the fact this review is based on o e meal. Others may be axceptional.
I love this place. I go frequently. Good food and very good prices. I usually order the bacon breakfast but I have order every option in the menu and I haven't find any of them that I could dislike.

Best coffee I've had in a here long time.Had the turkey Benedict. Was cooked perfectly. Homefries were crispy and fully cooked throughout without being burnt.Staff was friendly and efficient.Definitely on my list of top 5 favorite places in Brampton .
