First time trying this restaurant, we just moved from Texas. Nakeal was our server he was amazing! Full of positivity and great recommendations! He ordered me his favorite roll, the Mexican roll, and told me to squeeze fresh lemon wedges on it! It was outstanding…We will definitely come back, especially for the service!Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Tara Wasserman doesn't like about Fountain Plus Endless Hibachi And Sushi Eatery:
It’s not often that the food at a restaurant is so shockingly terrible that all you can do is shake your head and chuckle. It doesn’t matter that it’s all you can eat; you couldn’t pay us to eat this food again. It’s bad; *bad* bad. Mayonnaise-covered lettuce as a salad; room temperature food; sushi absolutely falling apart; the list goes on. Please, save your money… even gas station sushi would be better than this.S... Sushi is always okay. It’s not great but not disappointing. My biggest issue is with the Owner “Tony” who in front of customers, middle of the restaurant started yelling at an employee for very stupid reasons. Full on yelling, flat out disrespectful. No boss or manager should talk to their employee the way he was. On top of that multiple items didn’t get brought to the table. After firing our server mid meal we had asked Tony for our bill so we could leave. And more than 30 minutes of just waiting for a bill to leave this awful place. I’d avoid this place if I were you.
Probably the most disappointing experience I’ve had when it comes to service in the south. The food was okay, but not amazing. This is how things went. We showed up on Father’s Day, things were mostly slow, but we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Having a toddler with us we had to corral her when the host called us. Instead of waiting for us to ensure we were following, he walked to our table to clean the high chair leaving us confused as to where he was. Our waitress seemed confused distracted. She ended up stepping away from the table while we were in the middle of ordering to help another table. At no point did she offer us refills. We were missing things from our order that never got brought to us even tho we reminded them. At one point, my dad asked for a steak knife to cut the steak he ordered the brought him a butter knife. When he asked about it, they said that they didn’t have them, just forks, butter knives chopsticks. It was a really weird all around unpleasant experience we probably won’t be going back.
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here with friends. Food was great, service was great. The only hitch would be a slow down on sushi when the kitchen would get backed up occasionally when a ton of orders got put in at once, but they kept slamming the food out and would get caught back up fairly quickly. Definitely worth me coming backFood: 5/5
Lunch here was a delightful experience. Our server was engaging and cheerful.Every bite sized piece of sushi was delicious. Our party all made different selections and shared, so we all tried many menu choices. The value of the all you can eat order is definitely there. And do bring an appetite to try all the things!
Service was really good, the waitress was really nice and they brought the food out really fast.Only gripe was that they limit the nigiri to 4 orders per person total, so it didn't feel endless. But you can get the rolls and such after.I don't eat wasabi or ginger, so I was glad that they didn't give it with each order. But you may need to ask for it if you did want it, I am not sure if they offer it
