If I could give more stars, I would. Delicious food... delicious food. The pan meerrot scallops literally melted in my mouth! The duck confit jump roll app.=YUM...

Returning for our fourth visit since they opened only a short while ago. Superb food with a nice atmosphere and terrific staff. Bravo David Henry!

Entrees have not even been served yet and they are already accommodating our needy party so well I'm completely sure we are in very capable hands.

"4 of us had brunch on Mother’s Day and it was very busy so our food took a bit longer than usual. My grandson had the burger which can’t be beat. Awesome sandwich! my daughters both had the grilled cheese and one loved it while the other not so much because it had onions in it. The pomme frites are amazing. I had the asparagus soup and spring salad. Both were excellent. I thought 27$ was a bit high but it was a wonderful burger and came with pomme frites and salad."

"I feel like I got taken in a bait-n-switch. I bought a Groupon that included 2 Staple Beer Flights . However, we weren 't allowed to choose the 4 beers from all of the beers in the Staple Beers list. They told us which 4 beers we got. No choice. It also included 2 32-oz Filled Crowlers . Again, we were restricted to just one of those 4 beers. The Groupon didn 't say the crowlers even had to be from the Staple Beers list, let alone a subset of them. Groupon is supposed to introduce us to your beers. We were forced to accept beer styles that we don 't even like. How is this an introduction? I can 't even understand how the 4 beers were selected. It wasn 't based on menu price. I will likely stop buying Thimble Island beer in the store after this."

"Yikes. I used to go to the New Haven location often and it was pretty good. What I had today was not close to the quality I would get there. Not sure if it's always been this way or if it's gone downhill. I paid $12 for a smidgen of roast beef on a roll so stale it cut the roof of my mouth. The roast beef tasted like stop and shop brand. Definitely won't be coming back to this location."

"When my husband and I moved to New Haven from NYC last year, we thought we had to take the train back to NY to get a good vegan meal. Luckily we were wrong! G Zen has become our new favorite restaurant. I feel so happy to have this jewel nearby. I can't recommend it enough. Everything from food to ambience to waiting staff is so wonderful."
