They have such a huge gluten free menu and it's my absolute favorite place to go to have something I couldn't have at other restaurants due to my gluten intolerance. The gluten free chocolate mousse cake is the best chocolate cake I've ever had gluten free or not!!!! The service is always excellent and I enjoy the causal ambiance"

"Legit some of the best sushi I've ever had. Everything tastes better, literally. Owner had a place in West Haven for years but moved to Branford recently. Stopped in random Tuesday and sat next to a 20 year loyal customer that was back at Jerry San's place for the first time since they moved and they couldn't rave enough about the food (specifically the spicy mussels) and Jerry. My new spot for sushi without question. Can't wait to go back. "From the second you go into it is an amazing experience. The place setting was quality and you could tell the owners to put a lot of thought and care in every aspect of the restaurant. "The owner is a complete jerk! We 've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time but now I never will set foot in the place. I made dinner reservations several days ago. I presume it was the owner that answered the phone. He spoke at 100 miles per hour and was, very bluntly stated, rude. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the reservation only a few hours prior to the time. I called the restaurant and the same person answered. Again, it had to be the owner. I told him that I had to cancel my reservation for that night. He IMMEDIATELY barked (and I mean BARKED) at me that I was supposed to cancel the reservation a day In advance. I apologized and I tried to tell him that my wife was sick from her radiation treatment she received that day for breast cancer but no sooner had I gotten the words my wife is sick out of my mouth then he BARKED BACK that 's too bad and he abruptly hung up on me . I guess I 'll never try this restaurant after all. Be forewarned the owner is a total jerk. He will never get a dollar from me."
