"Chamard always hits the nail on the head! Chef Matt is incredibly talented, and even more incredibly consistent! Over the likely dozens meals I’ve enjoyed within the confines of that space, each one is better than the last. They also NEVER miss on service, Kayla is so sweet and accommodating, she is always anticipating our needs, and she makes each guest feel genuinely special. Carianne, the manager of Chamard, exemplifies perfection in service. She is quite literally the loveliest person I have ever met, and you will understand when you step into the vineyard and feel her warm and loving energy. To top it off the space and the property are unbelievable gorgeous! The marriage of that high end service and food, juxtaposed with the rustic nature of the vineyard make for a truly unique experience! Bravo, team"

"Legit some of the best sushi I've ever had. Everything tastes better, literally. Owner had a place in West Haven for years but moved to Branford recently. Stopped in random Tuesday and sat next to a 20 year loyal customer that was back at Jerry San's place for the first time since they moved and they couldn't rave enough about the food (specifically the spicy mussels) and Jerry. My new spot for sushi without question. Can't wait to go back. "From the second you go into it is an amazing experience. The place setting was quality and you could tell the owners to put a lot of thought and care in every aspect of the restaurant. The food came out quickly and was delicious. You also have the best Naan I had the chance to stuff my face. I wish I could eat there every day!"

"The owner is a complete jerk! We 've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time but now I never will set foot in the place. I made dinner reservations several days ago. I presume it was the owner that answered the phone. He spoke at 100 miles per hour and was, very bluntly stated, rude. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the reservation only a few hours prior to the time. I called the restaurant and the same person answered. Again, it had to be the owner. I told him that I had to cancel my reservation for that night. He IMMEDIATELY barked (and I mean BARKED) at me that I was supposed to cancel the reservation a day In advance. I apologized and I tried to tell him that my wife was sick from her radiation treatment she received that day for breast cancer but no sooner had I gotten the words my wife is sick out of my mouth then he BARKED BACK that 's too bad and he abruptly hung up on me . I guess I 'll never try this restaurant after all. Be forewarned the owner is a total jerk. He will never get a dollar from me."
