What User doesn't like about Ashoka Indian:
Unfortunately this restaurant lost a lit of its original quality. The waiters were cold, tried to give us the uncomfortable table close to the kitchen (although the huge restaurant was empty). Papadam: only 1 piece per portion over burned, mouton with tomatoes and rice was mediocre, mixed vegetables were obviously frozen before cooking. When we asked, they denied it. Most people I know prefer ganesh to ashoka pure because ashoka is extremely overpriced. eating is good, definitiw less vegan options compared to ganesh. the waiters speak very bad English and can not properly explain the dishes, do not know what milk/egg etc. contains. the chana masala is delicious.
I thought eating was good, and my omni partner also enjoyed eating. maybe a little expensive for what we would normally pay for Indians, but service and everything was really polite and interior decoration was also really nice.

I only went to this place once with my friend and liked him. they had a great selection of vegetarians. Maybe it's a bit more expensive, then say royal kashmir or punjabi dhaba, but eating is good. we had Shahi-scatterers and aloo gobhi. I was vegetarian at the time, but if they are vegan, it might be better to make sure they don't use ghee. updated by previous review on 2018-02-01
This restaurant is excellent once again. They offer well-prepared Indian dishes at a great price. The interior is also very beautiful, with Indian music playing in the background straight from the radio. The restaurant truly captures the essence of India. The prices are reasonable and fair.
