Cowfish - Bray Harbour

Have been trying to 're visit this haven of great food great wine and gorgeous cocktails but it 's been difficult to get a night and then the weather got in the way. But Last night my party of 8 got there. I was very nervous and excited as I had talked about Cowfish and made the booking but now it all rested on the restaurant. But from the second we arrived to well after we left Cowfish never let me down. The staff were so accommodating especially with one guests allergy request nothing was a problem. Each starter was a delight, a plate of flavours and smells that caused many a delighted gasp. Then the steaks served either plated for sharing or individual just let the waiting staff know. They were perfection, melt in your mouth. From the other end of the table the Scallops special was being admired by all. Could it get better by desert! It was already exceeding everyone 's expectations....but yes oh my oh my the deserts! The massive problem was which to order as my friend said for first time in ages she couldn 't choose. So we each choose one and tasted each. The chocolate mousse is delicious and the Bailey 's Bread and butter perfection. Even when it got a bit chilly, it is a Roof Terrace after all (in March in Ireland! the lovely touch of a warm blanket was so kind. Are we going back absololoutly, the problem will be beating all the other returning customers to secure a table. A fantastic addition to Bray Roll on summer evenings lazy nights on the Roof Terrace. Thankyou Carlo and your team you were all brilliant.

Service was excellent, setting and atmosphere were on point and the food was fantastic. The 'smalls ' are exactly what they say on the tin, they are small portions. However, the steak that we had was one of the best pieces of meat that I have eaten. Will definitely be back

Food is DELISH. Coconut chicken... beef brisket #NOM Lovely setting very good staff! Only thing I could fault is the wine list... limited white wine options ... Albariño please ;
