Fantastic roast beef and pastrami sandwiches. The bread that the sandwiches are served on is perfection; soft yet strong enough to stand up to the weighty filling. Our party of 3 also shared chili-cheese fries which is large enough for probably 6-8, but honestly I'd skip these next time and save the room for the much more flavorful and memorable sandwiches. What Peter Gutierrez doesn't like about The Hat:
They got one of our sandwiches wrong, then argued with my wife that we switched the sandwiches. They both had the same condiments even though they were supposed to be different. View all feedback.
Food and everything was great but the back of the restaurants seats were full of ant's.
What a cool surprise. Really nice Pastrami and great potato salad. Good service with decent pricing. The only reason why I'm not giving you a 5 for food is because while the bread was fresh, it was just way too soft and the sandwich gets smooshed when you hold it. Cool little mid-century spot or in the 60s with intact woodwork that is worth going inside and eating there to check it out. I was really surprised by the drive-thru!!
I am an old time customer the taste is always the same no matter where I eat Always delicious
A friend highly recommended the hat because I’m a pastrami addict. It was fantastic. I had the Pastrami Dip! So much Pastrami. My boys had the pastrami burgers and we shared a chili fries. So much food. If I lived in the area I’d be a regular. So great to find a place that serves simple, good food.
Either I'm getting bigger or the food is getting smaller lol either way I still love it especially the fries with gravy
