there are not many places in wales more beautiful than the royal oak on a sunny day, especially when they arrive at the brec mon channel and are gassed for a pint. there is a vegan curry sweet potato, spinat and cherry on the standard menu, but they also seem to do specials: I had a felafel burger with chips unavoidable and salat my partner, who is vegetarian, ate my halloumi . that was pretty good. "As a last minute Sunday lunch booking for 10 people, the pub was very accommodating and looked after us extremely well. One of the party is Gluten intolerant but the restaurant went out of its way to provide GF food including making GF gravy. The carvery was plentiful and good value just what was needed for a rather jaded post wedding group"
