since the actual restaurant was booked at/at the casino, we were in the symphonie restaurant in the mercur hotel. this came to us very much: we were the only guests, it was very nice quiet, very nice service. the feeds came fast and were large from the portions. only to be mosquito was that the grießnockerl in the suppe inside were unfortunately still very cold. but the taste was good through and through. the three-course festive music for eur 35 consists of a glass gazpacho, ochsenbäckchen with bubespitzle or fried forellenfilet as well as a dessert from mousse au chocolat and red sorbet with various berries, i.e. quite ok. Previously it was called mercure bregenz. I've been visiting it for 30 years and always loved it. I sometimes felt like a hotel in East Germany before the wall...
