"Had the coconut, chocolate and hazelnut ice creams and not only was the price reasonable but easily the best ice cream I've had in Lisbon. The chocolate was dark and rich, the coconut had real coconut and hazelnut was perfect. All the ice creams are...hand made. I also had an espresso which was just right. Intense but smooth not bitter like some other coffee places in Lisbon. The proprietor was ever so friendly and helped me learn a little more Portuguese and allowed us tasters of the ice creams before deciding. Highly recommended!"

"We ate our last day in Lisbon. Quick summary the food was excellent, and most articles are GF. The owner and the staff are well aware of the GF. The location is small, on a small road directly at the main square. But the food was enormous. Would recommend eating here while in Lisbon if your GF or not. The owner is great and the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Enjoy"

"Thinking it looked like an authentic Portuguese spot we dined here before heading to the airport. The food was passable, wine undrinkable and the hospitality woeful. It was very apparent that English people weren't welcome as EVERY other group of diners ie. non UK were given a free as shot of Ginja (a Portuguese liqueur) before leaving and we weren't, which was pretty vile. We are actually Irish but they weren't to know, but I've never experienced anything like it before. Perhaps it was because we declined the large fish that was shoved in our faces when we sat down or the cling film wrapped plate of sweaty cheese and cured ham that was plonked on the table along with the bread. Be warned: neither are free. The platter (which grumpy, personality devoid waiter returned to the bar counter) was €12 and the (what's customarily free across the world) bread rolls, €4. Avoid."

"Absolutely stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant in Lisbon, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! From the delectable toast with prawns to the mind-blowing octopus risotto—seriously, the best I've ever had—every bite was superb. The entire experience was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly, adding to the fantastic ambiance. Don't miss out on this epic dining spot—I highly recommend it!"

"Amazing experience. Staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and just made everyone feel so unbelievably welcome. The owner playing the accordion at the end was the cherry on top. If you're thinking of going, please go, you won't be disappointed!"
