Terrific! The nite we went, every table was packed with French families enjoying their crepes. Not touristy at all. Very traditional a great menu with every crepe imagineable. You can even watch the crepes being made. Not fancy in decor, but delicious food and a very warm, family atmosphere. No one spoke English and that was part of the fun! Close to downtown. What Arthur Hardy doesn't like about Creperie Moderne:
Irgendwie wirkt alles an dem Lokal etwas überholt. Die Crêpes sind zwar nicht schlecht, aber sehr Butter-lastig. Soweit ok, aber sie benutzen gesalzene Butter. Das muss man dann mögen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Creperien ist die Präsentation auch eher schlicht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der angebotene Cidre aus der Region und sehr lecker. View all feedback.
Ate here as it was next to our hotel and we were also recommended by some local colleagues. Really enjoyed the experience, the galettes were superb and a lot of care and attention seemed to have gone into the preparation. This restaurant has been in the same family for 100 years, which was very impressive and you can tell that they have passed their culinary secrets down throughout the generations! I would definitely eat here next time I am in Brest.

We had not eaten traditional Breton crepes before and some French friends took us along here. This was not roast beef, we were here to eat crepes, and we were pleasantly surprised. The Complete with ham, cheese and egg, is the favourite traditional savoury crepe. Of interest, I learned that savoury crepes are made from farine noir (buckwheat flour) and the sweet ones from wheat flour. Have them with the local cider, enjoy the friendly bustling service and watch the skilled cooks on the hotplates.
Service aimable et rapide. De succulentes crêpes garnies et avec du beurre ! Une déco authentique qui contraste avec le nom du restaurant mais est-ce important ?
Nous sommes arrivés sans réservation et on nous a gentiment accepté. Rien à redire sur l'accueil et le service. C'est plus sur la qualité des crêpes que des efforts sont à faire, notamment les crêpes dessert. J'ai été particulièrement déçu par la crêpe au chocolat que j'ai trouvé sèche. On aurait dit une crêpe à la poudre chocolaté... Un petit coup de fraîcheur ferait du bien à la salle du restau...
