We expected Marcos and got something completely different. It is not a raised farm to table. The only thing raised in the square is the name and pricing. Food would barely qualify as amateur-hour quality. Certainly, the Mac and the cheese came from the family business force. The service was not attentive to details. I recommend visiting this place when you're in the area. The restaurant itself used to be a house and it is very picturesque and special.
I know that they just opened, but very limited menu. I ordered a strawberry and beet salad that was warm. I don't know how long the ingredients were not cooled. The beet (yes singular) was so small that it was smaller than the size of an almond. It wasn't a roasted beet that was a glass. Guest hadn't impressed a pizza.
On a Friday evening from this restaurant stopped, not too crowded, but it was busy. We visited the food. The Calamari appetizer was thick but delicious.. The eggplant parmesan was delicious, thinly cut and well made, as I asked that my husband got the gogonzola pizza - he ate the whole thing. Service was great and food didn't last forever to get out. Will come back when we visit!
Two stars. This restaurant can be great! And it can be horrible. Last two visits were horrible. Adding a photo of an ?arugula salad? which is obviously not good. My wife said that all the kitchen staff called out so maybe it was a fluke today. But I was there last week and the hostess was crying. So I don?t know :
