great place! I went south and wanted to get out of town. that got the place. super friendly staff, excellent menu and huge portions! Sunday has roasted three courses for £16.95. the starters were huge and the main course tasty well cooked and again a good portion size. we were too full for the desert! we will use this as a stop point when visiting the family to the north. Took my elderly parents here for lunch today. Absolutely lovely. Surroundings service and staff excellent. Will definitely be returning.
