on Tuesday evening, the 24th May at 19 o'clock, it was very busy in the restaurant, but the staff was brilliant, courteous and friendly. we were a party of seven and asked if they could fit us, the men said they could, but we could wait one. we ordered a selection of drinks and sat within twenty minutes with menus and our orders were taken. the quality and amount of food we had was great. the menu had a great choice... We arrived at the restaurant at 2:10 on Monday, just 20 minutes before they stop serving food at 2:30. We were left waiting by the door as staff walked past us. The woman at the bar inquired if we had a reservation, which we did not, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Lovely food and just the right amount served. Pudding finished off a great evening. Staff and surroundings very welcoming.
Excellent food, great service, warm atmosphere and reasonably priced
(October 2019) Lovely food with a large selection to choose from. With friendly and professional staff. As a party of five, we were taken to a more private area (a table seated for about seven), and that privacy was wonderful. I hope to return there in the near future..... And we did! In January 2020. It was jam packed with customers, it is certainly a very popular place due to the excellent quality of food, reasonable prices, atmosphere, and custom.

I have no problem when they visit their gas house at my next visit and recommend to anyone who visits this part of wales to look for this little gem.
