We visited this restaurant for lunch one afternoon this week while we were visiting from out of town, and we had a fantastic meal! The portions were very generous and it reminded us of the barbecue places back home. We also noticed another out-of-towner having lunch, who was very friendly and engaging in conversation. The cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar, but the food was delicious. I tried the brisket and it was cooked perfectly. While the cleanliness may need improvement, the food quality is excellent. The prices are reasonable and worth it. View all feedback.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our way to New River Gorge from Pittsburgh. We both ordered the brisket sandwich. I got a side of Mac and cheese and my wife decided to try to fried okra. The brisket was not as tender as I expected, but it was still enjoyable and had a nice smoky flavor. The mac and cheese was tasty as well, though not exceptional. Service was fast and the food was hot and fresh when they brought it out. The restaurant was basic, but clean and tidy inside. Overall, this is a good option in this area for a nice BBQ sandwich.
We just moved to the area and decided to stop in.... We will be back! Often... the food was amazing, the portions were large ... the flavors... AMAZING!
Food was fantastic. Good smoke on the pulled pork, very tender brisket. Baked beans were appropriately seasoned and not too sweet. Cornbread was tender and good texture. The coleslaw was creamy and tangy.
Very good food, fast and friendly service. The catfish and hush puppies were very good.
