"Came across this great coffee house as we drove through Mahone Bay Nova Scotia. The Barn Coffee Social house is great I had a blackberry and white chocolate scone which was to die for. We grabbed a table by the door as people came and sat and went.The main floor has the counter area and also some tables as well as some comfy chairs. The shop was busy the whole time we were there and there was great parking on both sides of the building.Besides the down stairs seating there is also a second floor loft similarly arranged.Throught out the barn there are assorted collection of great curiosities. Baskets, vintage poster, old license plates and road signs.I would highly recommend you visit if you are in the area.As we left jyst outside the door there is an old street parking meter painted red with a sign that asked for donations to the local fire department ... what a clever idea."

"I live in Ontario and come here once a year when i am driving from Halifax to Yarmouth. Good food, good portions. Love the clams. this time got the half/half w/ Fries and coleslaw (scallops and clams). never disappoints. only downfall is the fries I ask for them well done and they're always mushy. But who comes here for the fries right? All in hall their food is tasty and the portions are great, the seafood chowder is really delicious too"

"Yesterday was my first visit to Rebecca's Restaurant and it won't be my last. Our party had some shared appetizers and then main courses, and everything was simply terrific. Great and friendly service, reasonably prices, and while it might have been busy, we were so busy enjoying our friendships and our food we honestly didn't notice the rest of the world--but it seemed the tables are spaced well enough and the place is sort of sectioned so that you can't really notice others. There's also a big deck but we prefer to eat indoors in air conditioning. HIGHLY recommended. I had the mac and cheese, and brought most of the portion home to have tonight for supper. Delicious and generous servings. And great service, as I mentioned about. Only one photo because we were so busy chatting we all forgot to take photos!"

"We had a great meal here, very close to some beautiful beaches. My husband enjoyed his reubs and root beer float and I loved the shells with tomatoes and sausage. Friendly and fun service to boot! "The restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening, but we managed to get a table even without a reservation. The food was GREAT. We had a fabulous bean salad a grilled salmon risotto with fresh sweet peas that was out of this world. The salmon was fresh delicious and the risotto was flavoured just perfectly. Portions were large (perhaps too large! and the meal was memorable. Who would know that a gourmet-style meal could be had at the deli-bar of a small in on Lunenburg’s main thoroughfare? A must-try when passing through this town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Food drinks: The restaurant is SPLENDID."
