"Came across this great coffee house as we drove through Mahone Bay Nova Scotia. The Barn Coffee Social house is great I had a blackberry and white chocolate scone which was to die for. We grabbed a table by the door as people came and sat and went.The main floor has the counter area and also some tables as well as some comfy chairs. The shop was busy the whole time we were there and there was great parking on both sides of the building.Besides the down stairs seating there is also a second floor loft similarly arranged.Throught out the barn there are assorted collection of great curiosities. Baskets, vintage poster, old license plates and road signs.I would highly recommend you visit if you are in the area.As we left jyst outside the door there is an old street parking meter painted red with a sign that asked for donations to the local fire department ... what a clever idea."

"Last Arby’s in NS. Stopped here on a trip from Halifax. Food was good for the price. Drive thru was fairly quick. Although I still wouldn’t wish the beef and cheddar on my worst enemy. Montreal smoked meat sandwich was good."

"I live in Ontario and come here once a year when i am driving from Halifax to Yarmouth. Good food, good portions. Love the clams. this time got the half/half w/ Fries and coleslaw (scallops and clams). never disappoints. only downfall is the fries I ask for them well done and they're always mushy. But who comes here for the fries right? All in hall their food is tasty and the portions are great, the seafood chowder is really delicious too"

"We adore this restaurant in Lunenburg. Twice Stephen has been our server and he does not disappoint. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He always reccomends excellent wine pairings with the dishes we choose. We were also greeted by Madison who was simply delightful. As for food, they offer the BEST tuna tartare! I highly recommend the pasta sepia or the shrimp pasta, both very flavorful and fresh. I recently tried the scallop rabbit rissotto. Wowwww! It is such a unique dish, the cranberry and nuts compliment it all incredibly and of course the scallops are to die for. Beach Pea, we love you. Until next time."
