"I got 6 roast beef classics and ate them within 20 minutes. I promised myself I'd have 2 for lunch, 2 for supper and 2 for lunch the next day. I had no self control when I saw those roast beef curtains. Yum"

"A fantastic option, while visiting historic Lunenburg! I have had their fish-n-chips, which were fantastic, but opted this time, for a steak. It too, was great! The sides were cooked to perfection, the steak cooked just to my liking. Excellent price point, and service which was second to none.I’d recommend the Grand Banker to anyone visiting Lunenburg."

"Rebecca,s, formerly a small and charming bistro on the main drag of Mahone Bay, has moved into a restaurant on the other end of town, but in gaining more space and a nice interior seems to have lost some of its personality, its food standards, and general customer service. In a recent visit, our meal--one a flatbread pizza and the other a scallop-topped salad--took 45 minutes to be served. And when asked during this long wait, the waitress told us the flatbread had to be made from scratch. The finished meal certainly contested this--why do this anyway?--and was dried out and unflavorful. The scallop salad was a mess to eat, a real drawback to enjoying a nice dinner. The waitress was clearly unschooled and became haughty when these dissatisfactions were voiced. It was also a slip in quality when our water glasses, during the 3/4 hour wait, were not refilled, a second drink not offered. The meals was more expensive than it should have been for the quality or lack thereof. Perhaps we experienced Rebecca's growing pains. The restaurant is in a beautiful spot and could be a credit to the area."
