"The barn is a rustic, comfortable and cozy coffee shop in mahone bay. the decor is much oriented with the name of the company, wood walls, old buttons and many rural touches. they also sell beautiful local ceramics, which a beautiful small town vibe. they offer plant-based milk options with a lot of drinks options and also have a vegan energy ball. the day I was also had fresh baked pumpkin seasoned donuts that were gluten-free and vegan that were so delicious! this is a definitiw one of my favorite spots in mahone bay."

"The restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening, but we managed to get a table even without a reservation. The food was GREAT. We had a fabulous bean salad a grilled salmon risotto with fresh sweet peas that was out of this world. The salmon was fresh delicious and the risotto was flavoured just perfectly. Portions were large (perhaps too large! and the meal was memorable. Who would know that a gourmet-style meal could be had at the deli-bar of a small in on Lunenburg’s main thoroughfare? A must-try when passing through this town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Food drinks: The restaurant is SPLENDID."
