"Their shake machine was broken. I hate that excuse every time! It 's not just Burger King but the Mc-Place across the street to that does this. I work swings and go into these drive-thru 's later than most because of my schedule and more often than not, I can 't get a shake because of a broken machine. When someone hears that often enough, my thoughts go back to when I worked in the food industry and am thinking that the employees just don 't want to have to clean the shake machine that late into the night rather than serving up the goods. Great for their getting out-a-there time but not so great for who they work for...or the customers."
