Kerby Koney Island - Brighton

After being seated with our baby in my lap for five minutes, I had to wait even longer for him to come close enough for me to request a high chair. It took another ten minutes for him to return and take our drink order, and throughout our time there, he remained rude and curt. I noticed other families leaving visibly upset; one group waited so long for their bill that they had to go to the counter to ask for it. While the father took the kids outside, the mother was left waiting for an additional five minutes. To top it all off, the food tasted as though it had come from dirty cooking surfaces. The toast had the flavor of a grimy toaster, and my omelette tasted burnt. If people are choosing to spend their hard-earned money at your restaurant, at the very least, they deserve a decent experience. This was our family’s first visit, and it's safe to say we won’t be returning.

As someone who actually has a frustrating bacon allergy (seriously), it can be tough to find restaurant staff who take it seriously. However, the young woman who served me here was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure my food was safe (Cobb Salad). She really went above and beyond, which is rare. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I highly recommend this place!

I was the only customer in the restaurant, and my food arrived quickly and hot—definitely a plus! The server was friendly, although I did feel a bit rushed when my check arrived before I had finished my meal. This is a cozy, family-friendly restaurant with a wide variety of delicious options on the menu. The salad I ordered was a generous portion and absolutely delicious, and the chili cheese was simply to die for.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff's attitude was off-putting, the fries were undercooked, and while the portion sizes were decent, I still paid full price. Honestly, I would advise others to avoid dining here.
