We ate here for dinner one night and we will be going back again. My husband had ordered a sandwich but when he saw a plate of fish bites and chips go by, he changed his order to have that. It was delicious! The batter was light and the fish perfectly cooked. The chips looked hand cut and did not come with salt or any spice on them as some places serve them. We usually eat at the White Gull, but it was near to noon and we wanted an all day breakfast place. The diner was clean with a mixed decor that included some fine photos. Breakfast was not possible, so we settled for the seafood chowder lunch, which was good and inexpensive. I was served coffee right away, but had to go looking for milk. Our server was pleasant, but did not seem to have had any training for the job. View all feedback.

"We visited The Ship 's Galley Pub on August 10, 2022. We picked this spot specifically because the reviews we read while trying to find a spot to eat were very positive. When we arrived we were a little hesitant to go in, it looked a...little 'different ' from the outside. Boy am I glad we decided to just do it. The food was delicious! I would guess this is a popular spot for the people who live in this area. It has a very friendly and comfortable feel about it. If we lived here we 'd certainly be regulars. We ordered the 1/2lb of wings, haddock burger with fried and onion rings. Everything was good, but the wings were exceptional. I eat a lot of wings and I will say these were some of the best I have had. The place was spotless inside. Not a cob web or anything to be seen anywhere. With drinks and tax our bill was 38.64. Very reasonable. If you get the chance to stop in here do it! It 's worth every cent."
