You know what you are getting at English's. Proper service, proper table linen, super wine list, the best oysters, traditional menu of expertly cooked fish. Expensive Yes, Does it deliver Absolutely. We had the broken firefish and chips x2... fish was okay, nothing special, but half the size of everything I've ever had. But literally there were 10 chips on each plate! And cost £20 per record for the privilege! plus alleged voluntary 12.5% service fee plus 50p per fish dish for the fisherman something or other... but not voluntarily, as all added to the bill without asking.
