a short walk from the pier in brighton, we liked this pub. very friendly atmosphere and great burger and very good service. we are left without their famous roasts, and can not wait to visit brighton, a charming city and just an hour with the train of london. View all feedback.

What KiwiinBrighton doesn't like about The Lion Lobster:
A mixed bag. My meal a roast lamb was delicious. My friend’s trout was good. However, the others meals were lukewarm and the gravy watery. There was also no Yorkshire Puddings for the roasts?? The side cauliflower was delicious albeit small and expensive. Service was slow but polite and they did change our table for a bigger one. The Prime red South African wine was horrible. We liked this pub. The Food was very tasty. Only thing is it took a little time to serve it. Seems it’s visited by locals. Nice rooftop area.

"Recommend this wonderful, family-run Indian restaurant. from the beginning was the service, the atmosphere and the love to detail fantastic. it really felt like a home away from home experience. with wonderfully authentic, different and domestic eating, there is no doubt that love and think goes into any dish. if they are a lover of Mango-Cutney, this is the place for them with a 13 seasonally infused chutney to our favorites. for me I appreciate a restaurant on three main aspects: taste, atmosphere and worth. manjus gets 10/10 for all three. thanks to the family and the team for a great evening!"
