Early Dinner yesterday. Food acceptable but nothing special (same as their takeaway menu) We were the only people in restaurant so service was good Bill included $2 per person for corkage not written on menu but acceptable. Also paid $4.50 for a ice bucket to chill our 1 bottle of wine !!!!!!First time anywhere we have been charged for a ice busket. It would be a good practice to write on the menu additional costs so... Some friends recommend me this place to try I start with on tray which is tandoori platter that was really yummy. we ordered 2 curries one mild and a medium flavour (butter chicken & saagwala ) that was I found the real Indian spice and really soft naan bread along with main. Never complain about any thing and I highly recommend this place.
Have been here over a dozen times with family and friends and also had numerous takeaways as well and have to say that as an Indian food lover from England this is truly the best and most authentic Indian curry in Brisbane. Superb flavours and great service coupled with wonderful views- what more do you want? Give it a visit and see for yourself!! It can get busy so make sure you book a table to make sure you're not disappointed.
This restaurant has a very extensive menu, covering all the favourites and a few surprises. Pick of the bunch is the Goan Fish Curry - order it 'hot'! Prices are terrific, meaning it is a great choice for families and larger groups. Also BYO (I don't think we were charged corkage either) which is very hard to find around here. Plenty of choices for those not liking too much spice. All in all, this is becoming a family favourite of ours. A little noisy as it is more a 'cafe' style restaurant, but a lovely position overlooking the water and plenty of outside seating in the warmer months.
