"Decided to try the Xmas in July special roast for lunch. Appeared to be warmed-up Deli sliced processed tasteless meat, overcooked veggies, soft mushy "roast" potatoes, swimming in a tasteless watery gravy. The pumpkin and carrots were edible.We could only stomach about 1/4 of the meal each, and the waitress took it back to the kitchen to tell the chef apparently. The clincher - they charged us full price anyway.It basically cost us $50 for 2 light beers in the end.We will not be back, and doubt any of our friends will either."

"Hickory in Tamborine Mountain is a fantastic little restaurant. They serve delicious, slow cooked ribs, beef, and pork belly. Serving portions were so large that part of them got boxed for take away. The draft beer selection on our visit was quite good. The service was very attentive!"
